Arte + Sanos is sandwich heaven! The Chef is beyond talented and his commitment to each product shines through with each and every bite.
This little sandwich shop is tucked away behind an outdoor car wash surrounded by a couple more little food venues. It's very cute, and has tables with trees around them with charming lanterns strung about. But the real show stoppers are the sandwiches...
These aren't your regular sandwiches, these are artisan sandwiches, each ingredient prepared by the Chef; the meats, the aiolis, and the pickles.
We ordered the Cubano and the Philly Cheesesteak, each came toasted on a crispy crunchy, but light ciabatta roll (1 sandwich is perfect for 1 person). The Cubano had pieces of juicy crisped pork, seared ham, mustard, and was absolutely fantastic. Housemade pickles are on the table and those were so good stuffed in between the savory layers. The Philly Cheesesteak was melt in your mouth amazing. The meat was 12 hour smoked beef shank, with melted cheese, and seared bell peppers and onions, with a herb aioli, this is the most incredible tasting cheesesteak ever! Juicy, perfectly salty, savory and tender!
The sandwiches are made to order, and there are potato wedges as well as several other sandwich options, the prices are too good to be true (buy one for lunch and one to-go for dinner!)
At the time we went it was cash only, can't wait to come back and try the porchetta one next!!!
